DWCS is very conscious that client’s privacy is protected and must always be maintained. Our Ministry is built around connecting those that need, with those that have – in a safe and private way.

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, and to protect our client’s anonymity, we only ever use a “Client Code Number” for every one of our clients.

For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

Thanks to their generous and ongoing commitment to this Ministry, 100% of the overheads of DWCS are covered by a separate grant from the Sisters of Charity of Australia. Consequently, no money donated goes into admin fees.

Definitely! All donations $2 and over are tax deductible. All donors will receive a receipt via email or post.

If you are donating via direct deposit to our bank account, please email your contact details to: info@downsandwestcommunitysupport.org to enable us to send you a receipt.

As a charity working directly with farmers and rural communities, we have policies and procedures in place to protect the identity of our clients and the integrity of the charity.

Australians are proud people and find it difficult to be identified as someone needing help and support.

Contact with farmers and people in rural communities is via our team exclusively, as we have built our reputation with them on trust and it is important that this is maintained.

Over the years we have invited donors to write a “message of support” to a family and we deliver these messages along with the gift/s you have donated. This gives the recipients the option to respond if they choose to.
